Your fight against depression must be relentless

A person who is relentless exudes confidence, has a resolve, and is not willing to be swayed by anyone. When someone is relentless, they keep fighting, they do not quit, they never give up, they keep trying, they push through, they keep moving forward. A person who is relentless will not take, “NO” for an answer, they are determined to win, they are committed to their goal, they will seek and find the answer, they will research, problem solve and keep going.

As being relentless relates to depression,  a person with who suffers from depression or any mental illness must fight, not give up, stay committed to their goal, keep going, stay determined, push through and keep moving forward. It really takes a paradigm shift and mindset change to keep one step ahead of depression.  You must always have a game  plan in mind.

For instance, if you know most Friday nights you feel depressed you should plan something fun every Friday.  If you get upset when a certain song comes on the radio, be prepared to change the channel. If you know you start feeling sad after drinking, stop drinking. You are really in the fight of your life; for your life. No one understands how debilitating and life draining depression can become.

You should have a designated person to call, when you are feeling the depression episode you are experiencing is causing you to have terrible thoughts. Being relentless means you are proactively fighting your symptoms and constantly coming up with ways to  fight. Never underestimate your ability to overcome this daily disease.  You may suffer depression but this condition does not have to define your existence.

BE ENCOURAGED,  BE RELENTLESS, AND STAY ONE STEP

AHEAD OF DEPRESSION.

  1. You are my inspiration, I possess few web logs and often run out from brand :). “Never mistake motion for action.” by Ernest Hemingway.

  2. Nice post. I study one thing more difficult on different blogs everyday. It’ll always be stimulating to read content from other writers and observe a bit of one thing from their store. I’d desire to make use of some with the content material on my weblog whether you don’t mind. Natually I’ll give you a hyperlink on your internet blog. Thanks for sharing.
