Recite Every Friday

Often times a certain day of the week may trigger a depression episode in a sufferer.  It could be something as simple as, the weekend is here and I usually do not have any plans; or I usually feel sad on Fridays.  The affirmation below is meant to turn your Friday Blues into an optimistic day.

Do Better

In all aspects of my life I will make better choices, think through my decisions and set goals that are realistic yet purposeful; solid and attainable. It is time for me to live my life better and therefore I must do better. I vow to turn my Fridays into a day for me to relax, meditate on something positive and have a planned activity to take up any idle time.

Should I take one step backward, I will strive to take two steps forward.  I know that I will have good and bad days by I can also start over again the next day.  I will not dwell on those thoughts that tear me down, but I will focus on thoughts that build me up.  I am willing to face this disease head on and I will fight for my life, every day.
